Civils General Foreman

Esh Group is hiring a salaried civils general foreman, based at Bowburn, County Durham, to run site activity on civil engineering schemes. The general foreman supervises direct labour and subcontractors, gives inductions, toolbox talks and RAMS briefings, issues permits such as permits to dig, can act as temporary works supervisor, and keeps daily diaries, measurement records and plant hire under control. Work includes drainage, deep excavation, road construction, structures and temporary works.

• Experience delivering large civils schemes covering highways, drainage and structures
• CSCS gold card or above
• SMSTS
• Confined space, street works and first aid at work preferred
• UK driving licence, clean or low points
