Concrete Operative

Laing O'Rourke is hiring a concrete operative for the Beckton Sewage Treatment Works AMP7 upgrade in East Ham, London. The work involves placing, compacting and finishing concrete to specification, helping with pours, working safely around reinforced concrete structures and using the hand and power tools that concrete work needs. Operatives work alongside supervisors and other trades and are expected to keep quality and housekeeping standards high.

• CSCS card (essential)
• Previous concrete operative experience on major construction or infrastructure projects
• Good knowledge of concrete placing and finishing
• Able to work in a team and follow site instructions
