General Foreman

Galliford Try is hiring a general foreman on its Wessex Water framework, ideally based around Bournemouth and working on projects across Dorset. The general foreman runs site-based construction day to day from start through to the maintenance certificate: coordinating resources, managing materials and plant against programme and budget, making sure temporary and permanent works follow the design, and having RAMS and permits to work in place before work starts. The role also supports the site engineers with planning and programming.

• Construction experience, ideally in the water industry
• Able to read design drawings and work to ITPs and quality standards
• Confident giving safety briefings and toolbox talks
• Proven leadership
