Groundworks Supervisor

Laing O'Rourke is looking for a groundworks supervisor on the Great Grid Partnership at Hasland, Chesterfield, Derbyshire. The supervisor runs groundworks on site directly, coordinating operatives and subcontractors across several work fronts and overseeing drainage, excavation, concreting and finishing. The role also covers site records and reports, toolbox talks and briefings, tracking productivity and quality, and helping plan labour, plant and materials.

• SSSTS (essential)
• Valid CSCS card
• Previous experience supervising groundworks
• Strong knowledge of health and safety requirements and legislation
• Major infrastructure or civil engineering experience highly desirable

Pay and benefits: £21.90 to £24.40 per hour, depending on experience.
