The Clancy Group is recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 / HIAB and plant operator driver in Cambridge for its UK Power Networks Overhead Line contract. The role works alongside the Overhead Line gangs on the replacement, installation and removal of poles. Duties include transporting, loading and unloading plant and equipment, and supporting overhead line work with HIAB and auger vehicles.
- Full UK driving licence, HGV Class 2 / Category C licence and valid Driver CPC
- An appropriate HIAB / Lorry Loader qualification
- Previous experience operating HGVs and lifting equipment, with a good understanding of load security and plant transportation
- Experience with excavators, beavertail vehicles or auger equipment is of particular interest
- NRSWA/Streetworks and NPORS or CPCS plant qualifications are beneficial
Pay and benefits: £18 - £21 per hour. Benefits include a pension, healthcare, holiday allowance starting at 22 days per annum, the Clancy Xtras discount programme, a cycle to work scheme and an Employee Assistance Programme.
