Plant Operator

Murphy is hiring a plant operator for its electricity network upgrade work in the Scottish Highlands. Murphy's work in the north of Scotland includes new substations, high-voltage overhead lines and underground cables connecting renewable energy to the grid. The operator runs heavy plant safely, carries out routine equipment inspections and reports defects, and works with the team to keep the programme on track. The role needs flexibility to travel and stay away from home.

Pay and benefits: 39-hour standard week with time and a half after 39 hours, 30 days' holiday, a healthcare cash plan and further training.
