General Operative

VolkerWessels UK is hiring a permanent general operative for VolkerLaser, based in Perth and working at other locations around Scotland. VolkerLaser repairs, strengthens and waterproofs concrete and steel structures, with work such as bridge deck waterproofing, expansion joints, concrete repair and cathodic protection. The operative carries out construction and civils tasks under site management, uses tools and plant within their training, and keeps work areas and kit in good order.

• Construction site experience
• CSCS card and relevant job tickets
• Full UK driving licence
• Concrete repair, cathodic protection or civils experience an advantage
