Highways Lighting Operative (HGV2 / HIAB)

Enerveo, a highways electrical contractor, is hiring a highways lighting operative with an HGV Class 2 licence, based at Swindon (SN3). Working in a team across the Cotswold area, the operative installs and maintains street lighting columns, lanterns, brackets, poles and signs, and is responsible for operating the HIAB lorry loader. The work is outdoors on public highways in all weathers and is physically demanding.

• HGV Class 2 licence
• ALLMI lorry loader course
• Full UK driving licence
• An electrical background is a benefit
• Nice to have: IPAF or PASMA and G39 public lighting electrical safety training (support offered to gain these)
• Basic DBS check before starting

Pay and benefits: £26,711 to £28,091 depending on skills, experience and hours, plus the Time Incentive Management (TIM) bonus scheme. Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm, with overtime available.
