Winter Casual HGV Driver

Ringway's NH East business is hiring casual winter HGV drivers in Milton Keynes to run gritting and snow-plough vehicles for National Highways, keeping the strategic road network safe in bad weather. Work is offered on a zero-hours, fixed-term contract through the winter, allocated by rota, with on-call standby and call-outs at short notice. It is a safety-critical job that can include nights, weekends and bank holidays.

• Valid HGV Class C licence
• Current Driver CPC
• City and Guilds Winter Service Operations, including units 615 and 680
• Knowledge of spreading operations and gritting and plough equipment
• Desirable: professional LGV or HGV driving and winter maintenance experience
