Clean Water Industry Operative

Network Plus is hiring a clean water industry operative for its Claret Civil Engineering business, based in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. The operative supports planned and reactive maintenance on clean water assets such as service reservoirs, water towers, booster stations, tanks, valve chambers, hydrants and meters, covering excavation, reinstatement, cleaning, inspection and repair. The work follows strict water hygiene controls and can include overtime, standby and out-of-hours call-outs.

• Experience in clean water, utilities, civils, highways or similar work
• Full UK driving licence
• Confident with hand tools, power tools and plant
• Desirable: National Water Hygiene (Blue) Card, EUSR SHEA Water, CSCS, street works and confined spaces
• Desirable: B+E towing

Pay and benefits: regular hours of 07:30 to 17:00, overtime, standby or call-out work where applicable, and training in water industry competence.
