Drainage Engineer Operative

Sapphire Utility Solutions, part of Lanes Group, is hiring a drainage engineer in Andover, Hampshire, for its highways team. The engineer drives gully wagons on reactive contracts and works in a two-person crew with an HGV driver, cleaning highway drainage around the country with high-specification jetting and vacuum units. The work also includes remote CCTV inspections of pipes and sewers, vehicle and equipment checks, and daily use of a company tablet. It is mostly outdoor work, with a mix of days, nights and working away.

Pay and benefits: 50 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 6am to 4pm.
