Groundworker

Careys is recruiting experienced groundworkers for a major long-term infrastructure project at Bickershaw, Wigan, on a contract or temporary basis. The job starts with enabling works and moves into the main construction phase. Work includes laying ductile iron pipework and fittings, deep drainage and utilities, trenching, backfilling and reinstatement, ducts and chambers, concrete and foundations, working around live services, and operating dumpers and rollers where ticketed.

• CPCS or NPORS dumper and roller tickets
• In-date safety critical medical
• Valid CSCS card
• Experience on large civils or infrastructure projects
