Operative

Galliford Try is hiring an experienced operative for its wastewater Environment business on the Severn Trent AMP8 framework, ideally living around Packington and Measham in Leicestershire and travelling to several sites in the region. Working under the site manager, the operative unloads and moves materials, works on excavations, pipe installation, concrete and general civils tasks using hand, power and percussive tools, and keeps the site and welfare tidy.

• CSCS card (essential)
• DOMS or EUSR certification (essential)
• NRSWA accreditation preferred
• CPCS roller and dumper training, and slinger/banksman training
• Experience of potable water mains, wastewater pipelaying, manhole construction and benching, and concrete finishing
