Lining Operative

Sapphire Utility Solutions, part of Lanes Group, is hiring a permanent lining operative in Bradford for Yorkshire Water wastewater contracts. The operative works with patching and lining teams, learning sewer repair methods with lining drums, cutting equipment and compressors, with the aim of eventually running a van across all contracts. Training is provided in traffic management and confined space entry, and the role includes risk assessments, updating work packs, and some overtime and occasional weekends.

• Full UK driving licence
• Flexible about overtime and weekend work
• Able to work in all weathers
• Knowledge of utilities and traffic management helpful, not essential
• Comfortable using iPads or tablets

Pay and benefits: £14 to £16 per hour depending on experience, Monday to Friday, 47.5 hours a week.
