Black Hat Supervisor

Careys is recruiting an experienced black hat supervisor in Chester for major civil engineering and infrastructure work, on a contract or temporary basis. The supervisor stays hands-on with drainage, ducting, foundations, concrete and utility installations while running a team of operatives: leading daily briefings and toolbox talks, planning the day with site managers and engineers, allocating labour, plant and materials, checking quality against drawings, and keeping site records in line with RAMS.

• CSCS Black card (supervisor)
• SSSTS or SMSTS
• Proven civils and groundworks experience, including drainage, ducting, concrete and earthworks
• Able to read construction drawings
• First Aid at Work or NRSWA Supervisor is desirable
