Experienced Groundworker

PKB Civils, a Rochdale civils and groundworks contractor, is hiring experienced groundworkers for projects across the UK. Depending on their strengths, groundworkers cover concrete breakout and external slabs, finishing, shuttering, steel fixing, laser levels, drainage including separators and attenuation tanks, ducting, kerbs and flagging, tarmac, and running excavators, dumpers and rollers. Plant operators are expected to work on the ground when needed, and site starts are 7.30am.

• Several years' groundworks experience
• Able to work without close supervision
• Willing to work nationwide and stay away
• Valid CSCS card
• Full driving licence preferred

Pay and benefits: CIS or PAYE, transport to site from Rochdale and a potential van and fuel card. PAYE includes 28 days' holiday including bank holidays, with extra days for service and nights away. Away work pays an hour's bonus per night and time and a quarter after 4.30pm, with a hotel room, breakfast and a £25 meal allowance.
