General Foreman

Kier is hiring a general foreperson on its United Utilities framework in North West England, with Warrington, Askam-in-Furness, Manchester and Blackburn listed as locations. The general foreperson runs day-to-day construction on water and wastewater treatment works, supervising supervisors, work teams and subcontractors, delegating work from plans, programmes and drawings, enforcing safety rules, inspecting quality and keeping daily records of labour hours, plant use and site conditions.

• Construction experience, ideally as a supervisor or foreperson
• Able to read construction plans, drawings and specifications
• Full driving licence and able to travel between sites
• No visa sponsorship available
