General Operative

Galliford Try is hiring an experienced general operative for its Environment business on the DV2 Scottish Water framework, based in Fife and supporting projects across the East of Scotland. Working under the site manager, the operative unloads and moves materials, works on excavations, pipe installation, concrete and general civils tasks using hand, power and percussive tools, and keeps the site and welfare tidy.

• CSCS card (essential)
• DOMS or EUSR certification (essential)
• NRSWA accreditation preferred
• CPCS roller and dumper training, and slinger/banksman training
• Experience of potable water mains, wastewater pipelaying, manhole construction and benching, and concrete finishing
