Highways Supervisor

Amey is hiring a permanent highways supervisor in Kinross on its NMC North East contract with Transport Scotland, which covers 593km of trunk road. The supervisor oversees routine and reactive maintenance gangs and parts of the emergency response, visiting sites to check safety and quality, giving toolbox talks, ordering materials and plant, arranging subcontractors, and handling timesheets, absences and training. Standard hours are 40 a week, Monday to Friday, with overnight and weekend work when needed.

• Experience of highways construction work and of managing direct staff and subcontractors
• 12C mobile traffic management planning
• Valid UK driving licence
• NRSWA Supervisor, SVQ Level 3 or SSSTS and CDM 2015 awareness are desirable
• Willing to work outdoors in all weathers and on winter service
