Operative / Groundworker

Murphy is hiring an operative and groundworker for its electricity network upgrade work in the Scottish Highlands, at Banniskirk and Carnaig, with travel arrangements provided. Murphy's work in the north of Scotland includes new substations, high-voltage overhead lines and underground cables connecting renewable energy to the grid. The groundworker carries out groundworks to specification and programme alongside project managers and engineers, and needs to be willing to travel and stay away from home.

• Able to operate relevant heavy machinery and equipment
• UK driving licence

Pay and benefits: 39-hour standard week with time and a half after 39 hours, 30 days' holiday, a healthcare cash plan and further training.
