Skilled / General Operative

Griffiths is hiring a skilled or general operative on a permanent basis in Worcestershire for its construction and civil engineering sites. The work includes excavating foundations and trenches, installing drainage, pipes, manholes and gullies, concrete work, laying kerbs, edging, slabs and block paving, basic setting out, setting up safe working areas and signage, and using hand tools and plant where the role allows.

• Previous operative experience in construction or civils
• Valid CSCS card, or NPORS card with the CSCS logo (required)
• Able to use tools, equipment and small plant safely
• Desirable: CPCS or NPORS tickets, first aid and a full UK driving licence
