Highways Lighting Operative

Enerveo is hiring a highways lighting operative at its Piddlehinton depot, covering Dorset. The work mixes planned and reactive maintenance of streetlights, illuminated signs and subways: lamp changes, inspections and testing, fault diagnosis and repairs, working from MEWPs where needed and alongside the teams handling new connections and installations. People from fibre, civils, construction, utilities or other outdoor trades are considered.

• Full UK manual driving licence, with travel across a wide area
• Confident working at height from a MEWP (12m and above)
• Happy working outdoors all year
• Nice to have: NVQ Level 2 electrical (needed for the top of the pay range), IPAF or PASMA, 18th Edition knowledge, AM2 or City & Guilds 2391, G39 or safe isolation training

Pay and benefits: £26,711 to £28,091 a year depending on skills and experience. 37 hours: Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 3:30pm, Friday 7:30am to 3pm. An on-call rota is required, with extra pay for standby and call-outs.
