Highways Lighting Operative (HGV2)

Enerveo is hiring a highways lighting operative with an HGV Class 2 licence at its depot in Wellington, Somerset (TA21). The depot handles maintenance, new developments and a National Highways South West framework, so the work includes installing and maintaining street lights, signposts and road signs on major roads, fault finding and testing, and operating the HIAB. Occasional planned night work and overnight stays across the South West are part of the role, usually with three to six months' notice.

• Valid HGV Class 2 licence
• Willing to complete National Highways compliance training after starting
• Able to work nights and stay away when needed
• Nice to have: IPAF or PASMA, HIAB or lorry loader (ALLMI) training, NRSWA, G39, CSCS card

Pay and benefits: £28,091 depending on skills, experience and hours. 37 hours a week, with an optional standby rota paying standby rates plus enhanced hourly rates or TOIL for call-outs. Accommodation and a food allowance for overnight stays.
