Highways Maintenance Operative (HGV)

Amey is hiring HGV drivers and highways maintenance operatives for its transport infrastructure team in Dundee, looking after trunk roads across the region. The work goes beyond driving: carriageway and footway repairs, kerbing and ironwork, drainage, small plant, gritting and snow response, and incident recovery on the network. Hours are 39 a week, 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 3.30pm on Friday, with standby, call-outs and occasional night shifts.

• HGV licence (essential)
• Full UK driving licence
• Experience in highways maintenance, roadworks, civils, utilities or similar
• Winter maintenance experience, street works tickets and plant experience are desirable
• Happy working outdoors in all weathers
